Laura Iacuessa started dancing around the same time her dad began playing Bee Gees records on Saturday nights back in the days of disco, and it's been a constant in her life ever since. She holds an MFA in Dance Performance and Choreography and has taught dancers and non-dancers of all ages in studios, schools and universities across the country. Trained in modern, jazz, ballet, tap and hip hop, her passion lies with contemporary expressionistic work and bringing artists of all trades together for collaboration and inspiration. Her work has been shown in Massachusetts, New York, California, Texas, Arizona and Louisiana and has been described as "explosive", "evocative" and "original."
Dena Bermann - Chicago, IL

Dena received her M.F.A in Choreography and Performance from Mills College in Oakland, CA. She has been choreographing and teaching dance for over 10 years. Dena's work has been seen on stage at various dance festivals in the Bay Area, Dance Chicago, Kidstage and the Northbrook Theatre Children's Company. She has been on faculty at the Mission Dance Performing Arts Center, San Mateo Community College, Copeland Dance Academy and the Northbrook Park District.
Jennifer Bondy - New York, NY

Having grown up dancing in Western Massachusetts with Laura, Jennifer is excited to be back on stage with her longtime friend! Jennifer has danced in the Legends in Concert production in Myrtle Beach and onboard the Norwegian Majesty Cruise Line, where she met her husband, James. Her favorite stage roles have included Millie in Picnic, Anne in All My Sons and Catherine in The Foreigner. Jennifer is currently in production on a new children’s television series called Dance! Dance! Dance! which is slated to air on public television later this Fall. Jennifer resides in New York City.
Penny Hutchinson - Bellingham, WA

Penny Hutchinson was a founding member of the Mark Morris Dance Group from 1980-1991. She was a recipient of the New York Dance and Performance Award, BESSIE in 1990. She has taught and choreographed dance in the US, Germany, Singapore, and India. She has worked as an assistant and choreographer for Peter Sellars, Stephen Wadsworth, and Tony Taccone for opera and theater. She has collaborated with composers, Fei Wu, Mike Bajuk and recently Celtic competition fiddler, Bryce Holtry. Believing in collaboration as a way to participate in creating a new and more peaceful global family, Hutchinson is happy to be invited to participate in this concert. She is currently an assistant professor of Dance at Western WA University.
